Hi experts,
I'm using DS125DF1610 in my design with a IL like 6dB, I'm trying to use Adapt-1. I got a few questions about CTLE.
Q1:
In page15 of DS125DF1610 datasheet, it mentions that there are 32 default value in reg 0x40-0x5f used for CTLE adaption, I dumped them all below, can you tell me how to calculate the boost value of these 32 registers? There must be a rule to decode them.
0x40 | 0x0 |
0x41 | 0x1 |
0x42 | 0x4 |
0x43 | 0x10 |
0x44 | 0x40 |
0x45 | 0x8 |
0x46 | 0x2 |
0x47 | 0x80 |
0x48 | 0x3 |
0x49 | 0xc |
0x4A | 0x30 |
0x4B | 0x41 |
0x4C | 0x50 |
0x4D | 0xc0 |
0x4E | 0x60 |
0x4F | 0x90 |
0x50 | 0x88 |
0x51 | 0x82 |
0x52 | 0xa0 |
0x53 | 0x46 |
0x54 | 0x52 |
0x55 | 0x8c |
0x56 | 0xb0 |
0x57 | 0xc8 |
0x58 | 0x57 |
0x59 | 0x5d |
0x5A | 0x69 |
0x5B | 0x75 |
0x5C | 0xd5 |
0x5D | 0x99 |
0x5E | 0x96 |
0x5F | 0xa5 |
Q2:
In page64, I could read back the CTLE value after adaption, copied below, unlike reg 0x40-0x5f, it tells me that which bit is used for BST3, which bit is used for BST2, etc.
While for reg0x8f, it is using a name like EQ_BST_TO_ANA[0:7], is it using the same style sequence as 0x40-0x5f?
Regards
Chris
