TL16C754C: Is this errata phenomenon not happened on the current 16CP754C (Product folder name is still TL16C754C)?

The errata is fixed in the "CP" version. TL16CP754C does not have the errata.

I believe the short-stop bit errata still applies to this device even though it is not present explicitly in the datasheet.

I don't believe we have the errata fixed version of the TL16C752C, nor do I think this is on our schedule to fix due to low demand. In order to work around this errata, we encourage the customers to follow the short-stop bit errata work arounds which to use 1.5 or 2 stop bits, or decrease the reference clock divisor by 1 to make the received STOP bit appear longer.
