DS90UR124: Spread Spectrum Clock compatibility

Hi,

In my application in order to pass radiated EMI tests I need to have the data sent over the serializer/deserializer channel with spread spectrum clocking.

Is the DS90UR124 compatible with spread spectrum clocking on transmitter side?

In the datasheet there is no information on maximum spread spectrum % applicable and maximum modulation frequency. Can you give more information?

we are going to use 25MHz clock frequency.

Hello Stefano,

you should be able to use Modulation frequency between 5KHz and 35KHz, with +/- 0.5% deviaton.
