TUSB1002A: Design problem with USB3.0 redriver

Hello,

I Designed a usb 3.0 redriver usign TUSB1002A. i used a ESD protection (PN:TPD2EUSB30ADRTR) for the lines SSTX, SSRX, D+-.

My board which i design doesnt work.. do you know why?
The difference between my board to the evalutaion board is that i used ESD protection.

the SSTX,SSRX lines are matched.

can someone help me please?

Hi,

It looks like the host side connection is not correct and need to be fixed. The RX on the connector side is defined as input and the TX on the connector side is defined as output.

Hi,

SSTX of the connector is being defined as an output, so you want to connect to TUSB1002A output (TUSB1002A is driving).

SSRX of the connector is being defined as an input, so you want to connect to TUSB1002A input (TUSB1002A is receiving).

So with my previous response, I was trying to show how it should be connected.
