Hi team,

My customer meet EMC issue and they want to use half rate mode in sync mode.

Do they only need to change the 0x58? We didn't see many description in the datasheet.

And could you please help check if it will be good for EMC?

Hello Brian,

which mode is the customer using now? What is the REFCLK value?

What is the used SER?

Can you provide more details on what are they failing? at which frequencies?

Hi Hamzeh,

They are using 935+936.

The crystal on 936 is 24MHz.

Right now they are using non-sync mode with 24MHz crystal on 936 and 100MHz crystal on 935.

They will have a RE EMI issue and we don't know the frequency.

So they want to try this half-rate mode with sync mode.

Please kindly help check what need them to change.

Hello Brian,

If they are using Synch mode and want to use half rate mode then yes, only change reg 0x58.

But, in Synch mode they do not need any crystal on the 935, so do not understand why they are using 100MHz there!
