TUSB422: Can we make mac refuse to refuse to reconnect TUSB422?

Hi team,

     The customers use tusb422 to connect to the C port of the mac computer and cannot receive the Get Source Cap Extended packet sent by the mac. There is no reply after timeout, resulting in soft_reset. The mac would do it again and again. The mac would notice the customer that the device plug in and plug out over and over again.

    Can the tusb422 tell the soc that MAC has failed to identify the tusb422 and stop connect with mac?

    Hi Nan:

          TUSB422 does not support PD3  ":Get Source Cap Extended  message".

              TUSB422 incorrectly interprets the message as a Good CRC and discards the message

          The only solution is to disable PD 3 and use PD2 instead.
