MAX232E: TRS232EIPWR replaces because of EOL

Hi TI team,

I am considering replacing the TRS232EIPWR with the MAX232EIPWR due to its EOL.

I compared the datasheets and found that the characteristics of those two ICs are the same.
Are the TRS232EIPWR and MAX232EIPWR exactly the same in content, just with different model numbers?
Or are there any differences other than the model number?

Hi T. Naruse,

They are the same. A lot, but not all, of our TRS and MAX RS-232 parts that we sell with the same suffix numbers are generally identical (like this pair of devices).
