Could you tell me the tolerance of dimple for wide dimension?
I can see the tolerance of LM63635-Q1 but can not see TCAN1044AV-Q1 and TCAN1046AV-Q1.
I want to know points written yellow marker in a picture so pleas you will check it.

Thanks for your patience.

Our standard practice for dimple WF ePODs is only to show the dimple as a reference dimension – no tolerance. We do not check this as part of AVI so do not want to spec it for customer. The fact that the tolerance is specified in another datasheet is actually an error.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but since it isn't something used for AVI, we don't specify the tolerance.

Thank you for your response. I understand the tolerance is specified in another datasheet is actually an error.
But, could you tell me just the design value or target tolerance value? I have an inquiry from the manufacturing department. I guess they confirm for AOI.

Hi Kuzuya-san,

The maximum width of the dimple will be limited by the minimum size of the pin which is 0.25mm. Based on this, I expect that the tolerance of the dimple cut will be within ±0.06mm. Do you know if this would be sufficient for manufacturing's needs?
