Gareth:
I'm working on schematic review and will send feedback by tomorrow.

Gareth:
if not , please pull SMBUSz high
please provide page 12 and 50 as weel for downstream and upstream port schematic as well.

Hi Brian
Regarding TUSB8044, we are connecting to SMbus host of PCH, in case we need any modification.
For this pin (SMBUSz), I found the datasheet mentioned low for an I2C EEPROM and high for a SMBus host.
That's why we pull down this pin.
Gareth:
From datasheet, 0 is SMBus mode, 1 is I2C mode. Once in SMBus mode, hub will wait until SMBus configuration is done.

Regards
Brian
Gareth:
Since FULLPWRMGM is high which means hub will not support power switching., how did customer implementing power switching?
What is VIC signal coming from?

Hi Brian
1. change to I2C mode
=> Do we need to add an EEPROM on I2C bus?
2. change FULLPWRMGM to high, connect OC# and PWRON to hub
VIC_USB*_EN is from a MCU's GPIO to enable/disable USB ports
Dear customer,
