we have below question for SN75LVPE5412:

  1. Is the device completely protocol agnostic and any high speed signal can pass through it?
  2. Has your company verified the cascade usage scenario of this device, such as 4 cascades to form a multi-channel Switch?

    Hi Dane,

    1). Yes this device is protocol agnostic. Please note RX detect is used for PCIe applications. Otherwise there is option to disable this feature for other applications.

    2). We do not recommend cascading multiple equalizers. This could have negative side effects.
