DS15BA101: Could I use DS15BA101 in 2.2 Gbps?

My customer want to use DS15BA101 in 2.2 Gbps, But in the chip introduction, there only show the 1.5Gbps, and in datasheet there have 2Gbps test result.

So could you help me to check Can the DS15BA101 use in 2.2Gbps?

Hi Tony,

Please recommend DS30BA101 to your customer instead. This is rated for 3Gbps.

Thanks ，but DS30 is 4mmx4mm which is too big to use in endoscopy EE. customer want to use DS15 which is 3mmx3mm . So could you help me check could DS15 able to use in 2.2Gbps？

Hi Tony,

Unfortunately DS15BA101 has not been validated for 2.2Gbps. Same as what is shown for 2Gbps, customer can take some DS15BA101 devices and run at 2.2Gbps. There could be some eye diagram degradation but customer ASIC maybe is able to handle it.
