Part Number: TCAN1044V-Q1

Hi TRX team,

Could you provide test result of IEC 61000-4-2 for TCAN1044VDRQ1? My customer requests that data.

    Komago-san,

    You can find these results in the Zwickau report located on our field Sharepoint by typing trx/ in your browser while on the TI network. From there, navigate to the CAN folder, then RTM devices, then TCAN1044 folder. I would recommend the customer move to the TCAN1044AV-Q1 though, as the A version had an ESD update to help with Automotive EMC standards.

    Hi Eric,

    I checked EMC test reports on the SharePoint but there is no Zwickau reports for TCAN1044V-Q1. Is there really no reports for this device?

    On the other hands, I found Zwickau reports for TCAN1044AV-Q1. 

    If no reports for TCAN1044V-Q1, we'll promote TCAN1044AV-Q1 to the customer so far.

    Hi Shota,

    Yes please promote TCAN1044AV-Q1 if Zwickau certification is required. This test is required by European OEMs. If this qualification is not required, the TCAN1044 may also be used. These devices are functionally the same.
