SCANSTA112: Designing with SCANSTA112

Part Number: SCANSTA112
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74CB3Q3251

Hello Team,

We are designing a product that follows backplane architecture.

Each daughter PCBs (that are connected to the back plane) will be connected to some DUTs.
We need to update the firmware/application code in the DUTs via JTAG.

I am not familiar with JTAG multiplexing,
Can I use SCANSTA112 for our application?.

One main daughter card (that controls the entire system) will have the SCANSTA112 IC and a MCU will be connected to it.
The JTAG pins of the controllers at the DUT will be connected to the JTAG of the SCANSTA112.
The Main IC will select which DUT needs a firmware update.
Can I use SCANSTA112 for our application?.

The voltage will be 3.3V.
I have seen some threads which uses just digital MUX ICs like SN74CB3Q3251.
Can I use this method?.
