TUSB1002A: Help to confirm AC caps placement

Hi AE,

      I found different descriptions from two docs. ( One is the TUSB1002A Configuration Guidelines, the other is the TUSB1002A spec )

      The configuration Guidelines suggest to place AC Caps between Host and TUSB1002A, but Our current layout place AC caps close to TUSB1002A.

      Will this pose any risks? Could you please provide relevant advice for me, Thanks?

    Hi Bruce,

    It's ok to place the AC capacitors near the 1002A or near the host. I recommend keeping at least some space between the capacitors and the 1002A to minimize signal reflections in the trace.
