I am aiming to develop a USB hub configuration similar to the one shown in the diagram below. Here are the requests:

1. Please recommend 2-port USB hub IC and 4-port USB hub IC for the red boxes in the diagram.
2. Please advise on considerations when developing a Multi-port USB hub as depicted in the diagram.

For the USB2.0 2 ports hub, you could use TUSB4020BI, https://www.ti.com/product/TUSB4020BI.

For the USB2.0 4 ports hub, you could use TUSB4041I, https://www.ti.com/product/TUSB4041I.

Hi,

There is no specific precautions when designing a cascading hub solution, but I would recommend using the PWRCTL pin of the TUSB4020BI to control the downstream VBUS to the TUSB4041I.
