Sometimes, this is just a temperature rating. But the "Qualification summary" section on ti.com/quality-reliability-packaging-download/report?opn=AM26C31QDR shows that AEC-Q100 qualifications were done.

As Clemens said, it can be just a temperature rating difference from the electrical parameters perspective, but full qualification has to be performed to get the Automotive AEC-Q100 rating. Please see the link Clemens provided for more information.
