DS250DF230: Procedure to accress PPM count in address 0x3B and 0x3C

Part Number: DS250DF230

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

Please advice om on my question bellow:

Can you let me know the proper procedure to access the PPM counter in address 0x3B and 0x3C?

There is a bit labeled as Freeze the PPM counter in address 0x30 bit [7].

It says that setting this bit to ‘1’ to allow safe read asynchronously.

Is it a correct procedure that setting this bit to ‘1’, and reading the data in address 0x3B and 0x3C?

In the meantime, there is a bit labeled PPM_ERR_RDY in address 0x34 bit 7.

It says that ‘1’ Indicates that a PPM error count is read (ready) to be read from channel

Reg_0x3B and Reg_0x3C.

Is it a correct procedure that checking this bit to be ‘1’, and reading the data in address 0x3B and 0x3C?

Mita
