TPD1E10B09-Q1: FMEDA document request

Hi Fanbin,

We don't currently have an FMEDA document available for this device. What is the application here that requires functional safety documentation for a discrete part?

Hi Sebastian,

Tier1 is AUO, the OEM is Geely. This is automotive display application and the ESD is placed close to the connector.

The customer don't need the FMEDA document but the FIT and FMD is required.

Can you help provide the FIT/FMD asap, thanks.

Understood, thanks for the details, I can create this document and post it here by the end of next week. 

We don't get these requests often so it's helpful to know when these documents are required so we can have them prepared ahead of time for new devices.

If there is anymore details you can share as to why these documents are required for this application that would be very helpful.

Thanks you, please help provide the FIT/FMD asap.

The automotive customer usually request basic Fusa information for all the IC, including protection device.
