We do not provide source code for our IO expanders.
I am not as familiar with Linux, but I did find some documents describing the I2C driver.

The TCA6424A uses similar register architecture to that of the TCA9539/PCA9539. There has been some example code written for the PCA9539 chip

The only difference would be that TCA6424A has 3 register sets for each type of register rather than 2, since this is a 24-bit IO expander and not a 16-bit.
