Hi 

Currently using TUSB2E22RZAR, the board has been returned Can the input of this device be connected to USB2.0 signal?

Or can it only be connected to eUSB? Currently, the USB2.0 from the Hub is used as input,

but the output currently seems to have no signal.

    HI Gareth,

    An eUSB2 repeater must be configured by the eUSB2 interface before it will begin operating, so it needs an eUSB2 device and a USB 2.0 device connected to it in order to function properly.

    Could you help to check if TI has a USB2.0 single port repeater solution? need p2p TUSB2E22

    In addition, TUSB2E22 can be changed to USB2.0 through settings?

    The customer's design is that USB2 from USB2.0HUB has to go through Connector+Cable, so a repeater must be added.

    The previously suggested TUSB2E22RZAR is that eUSB2-USB2 cannot be used, Found a TUSB211A on the official website Please help evaluate

    whether it can be used or have other suggestions

    Hi Gareth,

    The TUSB2E22 is not a USB 2.0 redriver.  It is a eUSB2 repeater.  It can be thought of as an eUSB2 to USB 2.0 bridge.  We have a TUSB2E11 1-port eUSB2 repeater, but it is not p2p as it is only a single port.  We also have the new TUSB2E221 2-port available.

    The TUSB2E211A is a USB 2.0 redriver and has a different purpose.  Do you need USB 2.0 signal conditioning or translation between eUSB2 and USB 2.0?
