I have exactly the same issue. I want to use the TVS1401 across the DC power input in a hot pugging situation.
I have some ideas on how to manage this inrush but need to simulate this in my existing LT Spice simulation (which includes non-TI devices).
The model available for the TVS1401 is encrypted and is only available for pSpice, not even Tina.
Can you please advise how I can go about requesting an unencrypted version of the model?
