Tool/software:
Can I use TUSB321AI ID Pin to enable VBUS power switch like UTSB320 Figure5 example in https://www.ti.com/lit/wp/slly016/slly016.pdf ?
I want to implement and autonomous USB-C solution with Medium Current =1.5A. The TUSB321AI datasheet shows the power switch enabled from an GPIO on the host process, but would prefer to automatically control the power switch directly from the TUSB321AI.
If I use the ID pin to enable the Vbus switch are there any pitfalls/limitation with this approach?
Thanks
