Tool/software:
Hi TIer
We did some experiments :
1. Use mode 0 (direct drive, pulldown resistor configuration is 1KΩ), Problem still exists (SATA HDD swash after soft reboot):
2, adjust EQ (no gain increase (0dB); or gain set to around 8dB), problem still (SATA HDD swap after soft reboot):
3., during soft restart, power supply (5V) to SATA HDD disk alone power down and power up once again (Redriver chip TUSB 1002A to ensure power on the power supply is unchanged), fault still;
When soft reboot, use tweezers to pull the TUSB 1002A reset pin to ground once on the Redriver chip TUSB 1002A (SATA HDD hard drive power remains on state unchanged), you can see the hard drive after reboot;
So I would like to check what the TUSB1002A does in the reset process, including registers and external pins, which helps us locate the problem.
From the verification above, it is necessary to reset the TUSB 1002A to restore the soft reboot. Is there a way to do not manually reset the TUSB1002A, can also solve the problem?
Thank you very much.
