HD3SS214: VGA and DP mux

Hi team,

Customer wants to find a 2:1 mux, one input is analog VGA signal, the other input is DP signal. Customer will select one of them to output. Do we have such device?

    Hello Naizeng,

    It looks like the HD3SS214 could support the  the analog VGA signal if careful design considerations are taken

    Are all the signals that will be placed on the multiplexer within the recommend operating conditions of the device?( Is the Voltage level of your system <3.3V which is similar to the e2e thread in this post?) The io pins and the control pins must be within the recommended operating conditions of the device.

    In addition for this application to work the common mode voltage must be the same on both sides of the multiplexer.

    Please let me know what you think and if there is any other info that you could provide we can double check their application.

    Hi Nison,

    After more consideration the while the hd3ss214 could support this application.

    i recommend using the ts3dv642 for this kind of application as it has a higher bandwidth and wider voltage support which will offer more flexibility in the customer design.
