Hi Team,

The datasheet of the TUSB1002A shown that the minimum length of Lac-cap to be 0.25 inches. If the layout space is limited and the distance between CAP and re-driver is less than 0.25 inches (not meeting the SPEC requirement), is there any impact?

Hi Yadong,

This requirement was put into place to avoid multiple impedence discontinuities at the pins of the redriver. This will negatively affect signal quality, but if it is necessary to do, it can be done.
