The output signal level amplitude of the 2025 version of chip AM26C31 reaches 4.95V under no-load, while the previous version had an amplitude of 4.2V-4.4V. May I ask where the change was caused?

CMOS devices have rail-to-rail outputs. But I guess the old version had an additional diode.
Hi Anson,
I'm not able to see the picture you uploaded but the newer device (with the new 300m wafer die) I believe uses a lower vforward schottky diode than the older design so it can drive closer to the rail than the old die design.
