Hi,
Hope you are doing well.
Project Name     : RN EVO
Sample               : B1 sample
We are working on the RN EVO project (updated version of the RN PCU).
In EN EVO, we are using a Qualcomm SIP which has the CAN FD 1.8V IO interface.
Could you suggest an automotive CAN-FD transceiver with the VIO voltage 1.8V (as similar like TCAN4550-Q1)
Note : TCAN4550-Q1 does have VIO voltage range from 3.3V to 5.5V. but our requirement VIO = 1.8V.

  • Hello Tendulkar,

The TCAN4551-Q1 supports VIO = 1.8V.  The only caveat is that you need a single-ended clock instead of a crystal.  The VIO voltage sources the crystal/clock circuit on the OSC1/2 pins and the current amplifier used with the crystal needs a higher VIO voltage of at least 3.3V.

    Regards,

    Jonathan
