LSF0108: Translating 1.3V to 1.8V

Part Number: LSF0108

Tool/software:

Hello team,

My customer would like to translate 1.3V to 1.8V using LSF0108.

However, on the datasheet, it says there should be more than 0.6V difference between VREF1 and VREF2.

Is it possible to translate 1.3V to 1.8V if we use it as open drain configuration?

Best Regards,
Kei Kuwahara

  • Hi Kuwahara-san,

The differential between VREFA and VREFB should be 0.8V and greater for best signal integrity. 1.3V to 1.8V translation is possible here if VREFA/ A-side inputs are pulled up to 1.3V while VREFB= 2.1V and B1 is pulled up to 1.8V. If the 2V power supply is not available, perhaps we can suggest an alternative translator without this strict biasing requirement. If that is your case, could you please provide more details for your application for suitable replacement instead?

    Regards,

    Jack
