DP83TC813R-Q1: TDR cable test measurement

Hello team,

My customer is doing TDR measurement in DP83TC813RRHFRQ1. In current status, their result is fail even if cable is normal(expected result is pass).

Their set-up is below, it seems they do not set Reg[0x0523], Reg[0x0827], Reg[0x0301], Reg[0x0303], Reg[0x0305], Reg[0x0306]...

Reg[0x001F] = 0x4000
Reg[0x001F] = 0x0000
Reg[0x001E(15)] = 1
Read 0x001E[1:0]

Does they need to set Reg[0x0523]... in Pre-run? Could you expalin meaning each of these register?

Hi Miyaoka-san,

1. Is the customer following step 1 to disable the link?

2. Yes, these other registers are important in order to disable the transmitter and configure TDR specific parameters. Can the customer try following the exact steps we recommend and let us know if these work?
