Hello TI Team,

My name is Axel Rocha, Avionics Engineer at Apex Spacecraft Manufacturing. We are evaluating the DS08MB200 as part of our SpaceWire-over-LVDS interface architecture.

To complete our part qualification process, we require radiation characterization data, specifically:

Total Ionizing Dose (TID)
Single Event Effects (SEE)
- SEL / SEU / SEFI if available

If radiation data for the DS08MB200 exists, we would appreciate access to it.

If such data is not available, please advise whether:

An evaluation board is available for purchase, or
TI can facilitate access to bare devices suitable for us to conduct our own radiation testing.

Application Requirements:

LVDS-compliant signaling
Data rates up to 200 Mbps
Automotive-grade minimum preferred
Must support 3-state outputs or include mux/demux functionality

Hi Axel,

We don't have radiation data available for DS08MB200, but we do have another LVDS mux that could potentially work: SN55LVCP22A-SP. It is a 1-Gbps LVDS crosspoint switch that can tolerate up to 100krad TID and 75MeV SEL. Radiation reports are available in the product folder. Would this device work for your application?

Matt, apprecieate the help, is there an automotive part that have radiation data? we would like to no use SP parts, we would consider SEP parts

Axel,

This is the only LVDS mux that we have radiation data for. We do not typically collect radiation data on automotive devices. If you would like to suggest a -SEP version as a new product, I would recommend reaching out to your TI sales contact and provide them with the details, and they will pass it along to the proper teams.
