CD4067B: Maximum split supply voltage for CD4067B

Part Number: CD4067B

What is the maximimum split supply voltage I can use on the CD4067B? According to the note below it says 24V which contradicts the recommended and maximum operating conditions. Which is right?

Also, assuming 18V is recommended and 20V is max, im wondering what the consequences are of operating at a 20V differential? My application requires +/-10V.

  • Hello James,

I apologize for the confusion. I suggest following the information in the recommended operating conditions table. The note is most likely a mistake.

Operating at abs max conditions is not recommended, since these are stress conditions. What you will most likely see is high supply current and maybe increased leakage as well.

Another important note, for future questions please use the INT-MUX organization option since the one you used in this thread is not active anymore. Hence the delayed response.

    Thanks,

    Nir
