DS320PR410: Properly disable channels on DS320PR410

Part Number: DS320PR410

Hello, I am developing for an application where only one differential pair is needed using DS320PR410. I would like to properly terminate the inputs for the other 3 differential inputs to prevent issues such as noise or excessive power consumption. Please advise on how to properly disable them. Thank you!

  • Hi Kevin,

For termination, please connect unused channel RX through a resistor (49.9 ohm) and capacitor (220 nF) in series to GND. Ensure traces used to connect termination is impedance matched to 50 ohms. TX can be left floating.

    Best,

    Charles
