TCAN11623-Q1: How is TCAN11623-Q1 controlled from normal mode to sleep mode?

Part Number: TCAN11623-Q1

Hi Teams,

How is TCAN11623-Q1 controlled from normal mode to sleep mode?

The current situation is that when you want to power off, you can control the nSLP low level separately. Sometimes you can successfully control the power off, and sometimes you cannot.

  • Hi Vayne,

It cannot directly change from normal mode to sleep mode. As the state diagram shows, after power on you need to pull nSLP high to go from reset → standby → normal mode, whenever you need the device enter sleep mode you need to pull nSLP low > t_SLP to go from normal → standby → sleep mode. That said, it requires nSLP being high at some moment after power on. Also note that nSLP is internally pull down, so if you make this pin floating after power on it will stay in reset mode.
