TUSB8043: TUSB8043 OTP programming

    Do you want to change configuration permanently or temporary just for experiment?

    If for temporary , you can use SMbus mode with SMBUZ low to change internal register.

    If for permanent, you can use external EEPROM with our EEPROM tool.

I need to set USB2_ONLY / REG_26h via OTP, because my board has no I2C EEPROM or SMBus master. Is there something like eFuse/OTP programming tool? May I ask you to provide me with it?

Hi Artem:

   You can still use I2C master with SMBUSz pin low ( i2C address is 0x44 if pin 40 and 42 are low).

  We do have efuse tool with USB connection to change internal register, but tool is for manual . For production, you still need to use EEPROM.

  let me know which way you prefered, then I can send procedure.

I will add EEPROM to design for next board revision. But now I need to make these changes manually on already mounted boards. So, may I ask you to provide me with efuse tool?
