Hello Ted,
Could you please provide us more information about their problem in order to reproduce it at our side?
*What driver version are they using?
*Windows version?
*it’s also present using our TUSB3410 EVM?
*Could they try it in to a Windows Fresh system without any previous driver installed?
*Please provide us the problem's reproduction steps.
Regards,
Roberto.
Hi team
My customer changed the head file to display the customer's logo in the driver dialog box after refer the AN <USB/Serial Applications Using TUSB3410 VCP Software >. But every time the OS (XP and Win 7) awlays display microsoft compatible warning. How to avoid it?
thanks
Hello Ted,
That is because the Microsoft hardware certification are linked to a specific "inf" and "sys" files, as the customer modified the inf file then the driver signature has been lost.
They can obtain a certification for their modified driver we can give them reseller rights for the latest TUSB3410 driver and they will be able to create a DUA (Driver Update Acceptable) submission, for this the customer requires to have company Account with Microsoft, you can find more information about the DUA submission process on the following link http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/hh998075.aspx

Roberto.
