Please teach ESD Voltage of SN65LBC180 and SN65LBC176.

    Hi,

    According to the datasheet see Absolute  Maximum Ratings for SN65LBC180 ESD HBM 4kV. For SN65LBC176 as it doesn't mention in datasheet directly I guess it should be about 2kV.

    Thus if you are looking for additional ESD protection please look at TPD2E007, this IC provide 15kV HBM ESD.

    Also you could take  transceiver with already  implement 15kV HBM ESD for example SN65HVD3080E

    .......or use the SN65LBC184 with two integrated 400W transient suppressors, or read the new data sheets of SN65HVD82 where I explain the design of a proper transient protection circuit including 12kV ESD (IEC61000-4-2), 4kV EFT (IEC61000-4-4), and 1kV to 5kV surge (IEC61000-4-5).
