DS92LV2422/1 75Mhz Limitation

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TFP401, DS92LV2421, TFP410, SN65LVDS93A

Dear,,,

I designed TFP401+DS92LV2421 --> DS92LV2422-->TFP410. It works well !

TFP410/410 can run up tp 165Mhz. However, Ser-Des can run up to 75Mhz.

Measured Pixel Rate is 65Mhz in case of 1024 x 768 @60Hz....

and in case of 1360x768 at 60Hz vertical, pixel rate is 72Mhz.

Upto this resolution it works well.

My board is transmit the serialized data through SINGLE Line of optical fiber and need to speed up.

(Speed up means == support higher resolution)

As gar as I know SN65LVDS93A is the best in speed (135Mhz), which is still less than 165Mhz of TFP410/410.

Am I right?

Because the serial data shoulb be running on the SINGLE line in my application, I think I have to add some more device like 4:1(tx side) and 1:4 (rx side). Maybe not 4:1 but 5:1 due to clock out from SN65LVDS93A.

Do you think this idea is reasonable?

If so, please give me some advice how to and what device.

Best Regards,
