   I have a customer who asked the TSB12LV01B full datasheet,because this IC is intended  to the high-volume ODM/OEM. And in our website, we didn't find the full datasheet, And this customer of estimated anual usage of this device is 1K~5K, so could you please send me the full datasheet to reply some questions for this customer?  Thanks very much.

    First let me apologize for the delay in closing on your question.

    Unfortunately, we have no real support available for this device. It was developed for a specific application that the customer who used it developed their own software for.

    Can you help me understand what your customer's application is?

    It could be that one of our OHCI devices would be a better solution for your customer - they have native support in all major operating systems.

    Hi,Dan,

      Thank you for your enthusiatic reply, and I am sorry to reply to you so late.

      The customer is a wireless institue , and his application is 1394 camera.Now the customer selected the integrated deviece TSB43AA82A,and asked some questions, as how to caculate the time of receiving frame about DMA/Bulky Data Interface and Host interface. 

      I'd like to know about this kind of device which is special for the large volume application, I have met several times,I'd like to confirm to you,if  the customer is not large volume, not only the customer wanted the fully datasheet,but also some technical support, could I tell the customer we don't make support directly?

     I am very appreciated to you, and I am looking forward to your reply.

    Kailyn,

    The TSB43AA82 is a very complex device and if they do not have 1394 experience, this device is not one we would recommend.

    We do not have any internal support for 1394 camera applications.  There are multiple companies in the market today I would recommend they work with as this is not a simple application to implement – especially if they are new to 1394.
