Hello,

My customer uses the SN65LVDS314.

He has a problem with EMI noise.

So he will try to slow down a input signal fall and rise time to 3ns.

But the specification of input signal fall and rise time is 800ps maximum.

Is it possible to operate?

TI cannot guarantee the functionality of the device when you don't meet the recommended operating conditions.

What do you think of putting -6dB attenuator on front of serializer outputs
as bellow?.

I think the -6dB attenuator makes the input (200~300mV) well fit
Into SLVDS input range.
