Hi Team,

Could you please tell us the TJ(MAX) for SN75157 ?

Is it 150 degC or, is it something like 125 degC ?

Best Regards,
Kawai

  • Takushi-san,

The DISSIPATION RATING TABLE that is part of the absolute maximum ratings section says TJ = 150C.
The 25C power divided by derating per centigrade gives an additional 125C added to baseline of 25C.

This section also comes with this warning: "These are stress ratings only, and functional operation of the device at these or any other conditions beyond those indicated under “recommended operating conditions” is not implied. Exposure to absolute-maximum-rated conditions for extended periods may affect device reliability."
  • Hello Ron-san,

Thanks for you comment. I asked you TJ(MAX) as there were only storage temperature range specification in the absolute maximum ratings. I understood that you could know from dissipation rating table by calculating 464/5.8 = 80C (D package), which TJ(MAX) would be 70+80=150C.

    Best Regards,
    Kawai
