Hi all,

According to the datasheet of DS92LV2421/DS92LV2422,
 the SER latency of DS92LV2421 is 144T(typ) and the DES latency of DS92LV2422 is 139T(typ).

Is this too long than the latency of a channel-link III?
Why is the channel-link II required a long latency?

    Greeting Toshi-San,

    Channel link II framing, coding and encoding of the frame, is consisted of several steps. On the serializer side, first we have to scramble, DC balance, shuffle(another type of scrambling), insert sync signals, and clocking info. On the deserializer we have to do these in reverse. These additional steps contribute to the overall propagation delay.
