1.May I only use TX/RX(SOUT/SIN) for TUSB3410 UART, and other control pin don't care (CTS,RTS…)?

2. Could I not use SN75LV4737A line driver for EVM circuit ?

3.Could I not use EEPROM for EVM circuit?

  • Hello,

    1. Yes, the serial communication can be accomplished using only the SIN/SOUT
    2. This is a RS-232 driver, so it depends if you need it or not, if your communication is 3.3V then you don't need it.
    3. The EEPROM is used to store the firmware, but you can do this via the USB connection with the PC, when you install the TUSB3410 driver on your PC, then you PC will download the driver to the TUSB3410 every time you connect it via USB.
