Hello,

      I am planning on using an SN65LVCP114 for an RXAUI application and am curious about the expected power dissipation. In this application only two of the the three ports will be used and the maximum data rate will be 6.25 Gb/s. The datasheet specifies the typical and maximum power numbers for an 8 lane configuration as 1.2 and 1.8W respectively. Is this number dependent on the data rate as well? If so is there a way to estimate the power consumption of the part in this alternate configuration?
