Hi Team,

I see the description of "AGC loop" in the SN65LVCP114 datasheet register map. User could set AGC loop Enable/Disable through I2C. However, there were no detail description about this AGC loop.

I believe EQ gain is set through the registers. Do you mean that the programmed EQ gain variation from part to part would be large if AGC loop is not used ?

Hi Kawai-san,

Disabling this function should reduce power consumption, you could think of disabling it in low power applications.

We don't have exact values about how large this difference could be, enabling it should give an Equalization closer to the one selected in EQ registers.
