Hi,

I want to configure ISO3086 as half duplex RS485 Communication. Can I short Driver Enable and Receiver Enable Signal and drive that IO.?

To enable Driver - Combined IO (DE and RE) - High

To Enable Receiver - Combined IO (DE and RE) - Low

Kindly confirm.

Hi Saleem,

Thanks for the reply.

I am running my board in above configuration.

But the O/p of Iso3086 namely A and B are coming in same phase.. Which causes the differential output to go to zero.

I expect a complemented signals but I observe same phase signals.

How should I debug.

Hi Siddharth,

This appears to be a board or setup debug issue. It's difficult to debug the problem from a distance but can you send any relevant information such as circuit schematic, setup pictures, scope shots that can help narrow down the problem.
