ds125br800 signal swap

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS125BR800

Hi Team

Diff + and - coneect to TI DS125BR800  input iC - and +?

is it OK for design. (SAS signal - connect to + redriver, SAS signal+ connecte to redriver -)

  • Hi Kerr,

Yes, this is fine. The DS125BR800 does not require that the positive polarity enter the pin marked "+" and the negative polarity enter the pin marked "-". Designers sometimes connect a swapped polarity for ease of trace routing. If you choose to swap the polarity into our repeater, please ensure that the output signal polarity is swapped back to prevent polarity issues further along the datapath.

    Thanks,

    Michael
