SN65LVPE512, does it matter which polarity the differential input and output signals have?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65LVPE512, HD3SS3212

Hi @ all,

i would like to use the SN65LVPE512 in our next USB Type-C application.

My problem is, that i come from a SuperSpeed MUX (HD3SS3212) with fixed output polarity of the differential signals and this polarity is opposed to the inupt pins of the SN65LVPE512.

So, can i connect the Minus-Pins with the Plus-Pins and vice versa?

I saw in the "SN65LVPE512-EVM Users Guide" that you do it exactly like this (see attached picture). So i am opptimistic that i can do it also like this in my application.

Could you please tell me if i am right with my suggestion?

Thank you in advcance!
