Hi,

I am using Type-C connector with TPS65982.

I need the information on following items.

Characteristics impedance of SBU1 and SBU2 signals
Characteristics impedance of CC1 and CC2 signals
Characteristics impedance of AUX_P and AUX_N signals
IO standards of all the above signals

For TPS65982 pin impedance information, you can refer to the IBIS model that is available in below link.

Hi Atiq,

IBIS model contains the pin impedance.

I am requesting for signal impedance for routing, e.g., USB2.0 has 90-ohm impedance.

Hi Hariprasad,

Spec doesn't talk about characteristic impedance of PCB for the low frequency signals. These signals are comparatively low frequency in nature and hence doesn't have any specific characteristic impedance.

However, spec talks about characteristic impedance of the cable assembly which is given below:

Hi Rahul,

Thank you for the impedance info.

I want to know whether SBU1/SBU2 should be routed differential or as single Ended signal, since AUX signals from the PD controller are routed as differential signals.

Hi Hariprashad,

SBU lines carry differential signal, so you need to route them as a differential pair.
