Hi,

Let me confirm about below.

According to datasheet of TPS2552D/3D, there is following description about how to deside RILIM value in "9.5.1 Programming the Current-Limit Threshold" section.

"Figure 23 includes current-limit tolerance due to variations caused by temperature and process."

However, when I confirmed datasheet of TPS2556/7 (these have low Ron resistor than TPS2552D/3D), there is no description about above.

I believe that production team of TPS2556/7 are same as TPS2552D3D. So could you please confirm "Figure 19. Current-Limit Threshold vs. RILIM" which is described in datasheet of TPS2556/7 also includes current-limit tolerance due to variations caused by temperature and process ?

    Hi Machida,

    These curves are generated using the MIN, TYP, MAX values found in the electrical characteristics tables of each datasheet. They are a curve fit using the data points from the EC tables and are an approximation of the EC data including the EC table test conditions (may vary for each device). With that in mind, the TPS2556/7 figure 19 curves also include variations with temperature and process.
