Sorry I dont know if this is the right forum ;
we use SN65HVS880 at 24volt ;
we leave REx pin floated ; is that ok ? or we should connect them to ground if we dont need leds?
we used RLim : 25k ohms and Rinput 1.2k ohms but we noticed that the Ic is too hot ; we increase the input resistor to 7k and the Rlim to 64K ; we get less heat now but now we can detect inputs from 21volts to 24 ;
So please could you help us to set less heat and detect inputs from 18v to 24 volts ?
